Winnipeg's Most is made up of rappers Jon-C (born August 19,) Charlie Fettah and Brooklyn (Born June 1985). They debuted in summer 2010 with their hits, All That I Know and Bang Bang, taken from their self-titled debut studio album, released in June 2010, the album was completely produced by Juno nominated producers Stomp and Jay Mak of RezOfficial Music. Both songs spawned videos directed by Stuey Kubrick and are currently being played on Much Music. They have also been nominated and have won APCMA awards in 2009 and 2010.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Originating from the north end of Winnipeg, Manitoba, the group Winnipeg's Most has risen like a rose through the concrete. Composed of three MC's, Charlie Fettah, Jon-C, and Brooklyn, Winnipeg's Most are a cut above your regular local talent, both flamboyant, and rugged.
Charlie Fettah, born Tyler Rogers, is a natural born emcee, he started his rap career participating in weekly MC battles on a local radio station. He took the radio show by storm, winning 5 weeks in a row and retired as an undefeated battle champ. His versatile flow and vernacular continually leaves many industry insiders amazed.
Jon-C, born Billy Pierson, aka Da General, is a First Nation member from Sageekng, Manitoba, and was born and raised in Winnipeg's North End. As an MC, Jon-C's punch lines and visualizations provide an innovative look on a tough upbringing in Winnipeg's North End. After releasing his first solo CD in 2009 "Da General: Blood, Sweat & Tears", the project received 3 nominations at the 2009 Aboriginal People's Choice Music Awards: Best HipHop/Rap CD, Best New Artist, and Best CD cover design. As one of Canada's newest young entrepreneurs, his day-to-day duties with his label Heatbag Records include creating CD art work, engineering/mixing new projects and managing duties.
Brooklyn, born Jamie Prefontaine, is a Metis born and raised in Winnipegs Brooklands neighborhood is the man behind the voice, the heart behind the rib cage. Emerging as one of Canada's top urban artists, Brooklyn got his start in 2007 working on songs for Heatbag Record's numerous mixtape releases. Responsible for writing local hits such as "Poor Daddy" & his 2009 Aboriginal People's Choice Music Award nominated single "Badass Shorty", his first solo release "Mind Of A Heatbag" helped build his foundation in Winnipeg's fast-growing hip hop scene[10]
In 2011 the group opened their own store in Winnipeg, NSHB Studio & Clothing sells all Heatbag Record artist albums, mixtapes and clothes and has a studio and photo room you can rent out.
In early June 2010, Winnipeg's Most released their first project - a pre-album promotional mixtape entitled "Northside Connection" online and in Winnipeg with immediate success. They also released two singles to local radio station, "Streetz FM" - "All That I Know" and "On These Streets" featuring Kobe (singer) - and quickly hit number one on the top 10 chart, the mixtape featured Blu, Ed E Buk, Zeek Illa, Bubblz & Lady Sedution. With thousands of downloads of their pre-album, local radio success & a deeply loyal following in their city, Winnipeg's Most quickly became the most revered hip hop group to emerge from their area in a long time.
For their debut album, Winnipeg's Most collaborated with Juno Award nominated producers Stomp and Jay Mak of RezOfficial Music. They released the self titled debut album it 2010 under their own label Heatbag Records and RezOfficial Music. The album featured Kobe, Ed E Buk & Zeek Illa and contained their hits All I Know, On These Streetz & What You In It For. Boogey the Beat co-produced one track with Stomp titled It's A Jungle Out Here. The group won 3 out of 4 awards, they were nominated for, at Aboriginal People's Choice Music Awards for Best New Artist, Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album & Best Duo or Group and losing out on Single of the Year for All I Know.
Winnipeg's Most released their sophmore album under Heatbag Records in 2011 titled Goodfellaz, the album featured artists Krizz Kaliko, Peter Jackson the Rupness Monster, Ed E Buk, Zeek Illa, Bubblz, Big Slim & Inez. The album won them six awards that year at the APCMA's for Best Duo or Group, Best Producer/Engineer, Best Music Video for All That I Know, Best Album Cover Design, Best Rap/Hip-hop CD, and Single of the Year for Don’t Stop.[11]
Heatbag Records is run by the trio, signed to the label is Bubblz, Ashley Blakk, the Rupness Monsta, Blu, River City Knight Ryderz (Kidd Kane, Zeek Illa & Cypha Diaz), Jay Bird, Stattis, Lady Seduction, Drezus, Kid P & Charlie Stumble.
